Unicode to Preeti converter
Many government portals, exam systems, and DTP programs in Nepal still only accept Preeti-encoded text — even if you typed your document in modern Unicode. This converter lets you take any Unicode Nepali text or Word document and produce a Preeti-compatible version, ready to paste into legacy forms or older software, without losing a single character of your work.

Frequently asked
Why would I convert Unicode back to Preeti?
Many government forms, exam portals (such as Lok Sewa and some province-level portals), and older DTP or typesetting systems in Nepal still only accept text in Preeti font. If you have a document typed in modern Unicode but need to submit it through one of those systems, converting back to Preeti saves you from retyping your entire document.
Which Unicode fonts are supported?
Any standard Unicode Devanagari text will work, regardless of which font it is displayed in. Common Unicode Nepali fonts include Kalimati, Mangal, Kokila, and Nirmala UI — the underlying Unicode codepoints are identical across all of them, so the converter handles them all the same way.
Does it change my original file?
No. The conversion is non-destructive. You always receive a new converted file as a download — your original document is never modified or overwritten. You can keep both the Unicode original and the Preeti version side by side.
