Privacy Policy

1. Overview

tounicode (preeti.tounicode.com) is a Nepali document conversion tool. We take privacy seriously: your documents are processed entirely in your browser and never uploaded to our servers.

2. What we collect

• Account information (if you sign up): email address, sign-in method (email / Google). Stored securely in Supabase.
• Credit transactions: records of downloads and credit purchases tied to your account.
• Usage analytics: anonymous page view counts via Vercel Analytics. No cookies. No personal identifiers. Cannot be tied to an individual.
• What we do NOT collect: the content of your documents, your file names, or any text you convert. Files never leave your device.

3. How we use your data

To provide the service (authentication, credit balance, download gate), to improve the product (anonymous analytics), and to process payments when you purchase credits.

4. Data storage

Account data is stored in Supabase (hosted in your region). We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties except payment processors when you make a purchase.

5. Your rights

You may delete your account at any time from the Account page. This removes your email and credit balance. Transaction records may be retained for legal and accounting purposes for up to 7 years.

6. Cookies

We use no tracking cookies. Supabase sets a session cookie for authentication only. Vercel Analytics uses no cookies.
