Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
1. Service
tounicode provides browser-based tools to convert legacy Devanagari font documents (Preeti, Kantipur, etc.) to and from Unicode. The service is provided as-is.
2. Accounts
You must provide a valid email to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the service.
3. Credits
Credits are used to download converted documents (1 credit per page). Credits are non-refundable once used. Purchased credits do not expire. Free signup credits are for personal use only.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use this service to convert documents you do not have the right to process. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API. Automated bulk conversion is not permitted without prior agreement.
5. Intellectual property
The conversion engine, user interface, and brand are owned by tounicode. Your documents remain entirely yours — we never store, access, or claim any rights over them.
6. Limitation of liability
We provide no warranty on conversion accuracy. For critical documents, always review the output. We are not liable for errors in converted text.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal.
